3. Richard was put on a baptismal date for Januar 28th in Köln! Was able to find him on the second to last day with Elder Stacy in Köln. Elder Rosales now taking care of the boy.
Wacko week here settling into Koblenz. Lemme run you through a Space Mountain of highlights.
Monday a member from Duisburg called us and took us to lunch. He works for a pro soccer player, has an awesome conversion story and that ended with me somehow eating some dog food.
Wuff Wuff. Was a send 4 sure⛷
First for everything right? I’ll send the video in the next email.
At interviews, I finally saw the COPELANDS. Dopest senior couple around. They were waiting for me there and just ran and gave me a hug. So good to see them and just ahh. I love good people. Shoutout to Elder Copeland romping it with latinos in Ecuador rn and of course Angie for making sure they saw me.
Other than that bunch of finding because this area is dead to say the least. We have been pounding it. Skkkrrrttttt
Koblenz is about 1 1/2 Hours away from any other missionaries we are isolated in our little historic german town.
I talked to this fam one night and it was just a quick contact because it was raining. Exchanged numbers and left. Got a txt yesterday and he had a few questions we were able to answer. We are meeting at their house Tuesday so pray for this little Ethiopian family. They are hype.
Forgot how funny it is to rip around with a brand new kid. We are havin a good time. He has a jet pack of faith at all times. Sometimes I leave him out to dry when he contacts. He says something and someone says something back to him he doesn’t understand and I just smile, which I learned he doesn’t like so much haha but growing pains are good. “Pills are good, pills are goooood” -Dumb&Dummer
-Elder Haywood got his first number on his own
-he ate some Korean kimchi noodles for the first time
- he tried sriracha for the first time
- we tried some sour Chinese plums together
- I ate dog food
- I cleaned about 5 pounds of mold out of the shower and bathroom and threw away about half of the apartment already, elders are pack rats and never clean
- we bumped into a free mason building
- found a mattress on the road and carried it home yesterday
- it’s poured rain every day
- fudged up my foot again yesterday on my bone spur/tendon/sprained ankle thing then walked another 6 miles on it. Post mission surgery should be good.
Have faith, believe in miracles, be grateful for them, don’t forget the miracles, keep covenants then life is so awesome.
