Week 78- "Hanau, Solingen, Coburg, Köln, to Koblenz"

Heck of week... let me tell you.

Friday said bye to mamma Parichehr! Sucked but I loved being able to meet that woman and see her be converted to the gospel and enter the waters! Aachen came over to Köln for a split that night had district meeting for the last time in Köln and the Romanian Elder cooked us some homemade Gulasch. Then we got transfer calls. Elder Rosales taking over Köln and training for the second time #babydaddy? Haha, he will kill it. I got the call that I’ll be with Elder Haywood in Koblenz.

Said bye to the ward on Sunday. Translated the meeting in English for some American homies and our investigator Richard who showed up, he’s from Ghana and straight was loving it. He was dabbin' us up and fist bumping all through church. I was like “well Richard you’re gonna look great in all white getting into that nice warm baptismal font brother!” He’s dope. Said bye to my El Salvador boy Mario. What a pleasure to get to know him. I can’t speak a lick of Spanish but I try and he laughs. The only way we can communicate. His baptism is something I’ll never forget. What a BOSS! he’s gonna go back and baptize his family in El Salvador some day.
Said bye to some other ward friends and stuff. Also helped with tithing counting stuff? What happened to church callings? Haha rip. Missionaries just do whatever gap needs to be filled. Gave a blessing then helped a Turkish family who came running in asking for help.

New Years was boss, Köln is literally nuts. Got a few bottle rockets and m80’s thrown at us. No biggie, “on to the next, on on to the next” -jay-z me and Rosales were partying! Already miss him so much gosh dang. Also all the friends and missionaries I met and served around up there.

Said some more goodbyes to members this week and packed and then Skyped Mel’s mom in Detroit and taught her the plan of Salvation because I guess the elders there were just not working out for her? But she loved it and is wanting to go to church there this week. Moms are awesome, FaceTime call/lesson was amazing hahaha.

Said bye to Rosales and got here to Koblenz last night. I’m with Elder Haywood from Richfield. The kid just got out of training, was born in 2000, loves classical music and is just a ball of energy. He was so nervous yesterday and I’m like dude no worries I’m just here to have a good time and spread the gospel. Our apartment is sick! Feels like Coburg 2.0, castles and churches everywhere. This is Germany man. No more of this big city life! Stoked! Sorry for the long email. Thought I’d elaborate because the last transfer of emails I was definitely lacking. Here ya go, mom, haha :)
Happy 2019
