Week 94- Sieht, Hilft, Bleibt

- Elder Uchtdorf conference. You could tell they were pretty tired but it was fire. Spirit was prominent. 

-Hard goodbyes with some of the best people I know. Was good to see the entire mission.

-Street display Saturday was way fun. Had some interesting convos per usual.

-Easter, amazing just amazing. #HeLives

-A drunk bachelorette party thought I was a "Marcel" and asked for a pic. Then one chick started barfing everywhere. That was 1 of the 3 puking instances we ran into this week.

-Interviewed one of the coolest guys yesterday for baptism. His daughter is on a mission in Singapore(so hype) and now his son is preparing to go. He finally opened his heart to be baptized. Never seen someone want to be sealed to his wife and family so bad.

-Met a guy from Palestine on a train and talked for almost 2 hours. He even bought me a drink. I'm going to miss meeting people from everywhere.

-Had homemade Costa Vida at my final Zoco🏻

-Personal Studies of Easter week, resurrection and Jesus Christ blew my mind.

Dacia turns 18 on the 28th!!! If you see her give her a big hug, and wet kiss on the cheek for me. I literally have the coolest siblings. Airport gonna be LIT

Week 93- 3 is a magic number

An interesting week to say the least over here......

Basically just doing 7-8 hours of contacting every day this week. Which is fine I mean whatever. Lots of opportunities to bear testimony on the street and meet new people.

We were running on Monday morning and all the sudden I'm passing 200 Chinese tourists. I'm like what the Heck? I didn't see the huge tour boat around the corner until later. 7am was just super early to see all these people and selfie sticks hahaha. Some filmed me when I did jump rope? Stay woke China 

Also got asked later that day by a guy if I was hopping on the alcohol tour boat? I'm like nah I don't really like hangovers and headaches but thanks for the offer. It reminded me of the episode in the office "Booze Cruise" one of my favorites. Jim&Pam goalz.

We get visited by Elder Uchtdorf tomorrow as a mission. Can't wait to see all the mission homies one last time and be able to listen to an Apostle.

Bought my coming home suit last week so we are just wrapping up on this big Mission trip for Elder Rothwell. What an insane 3 years it has been. I wouldn't trade any of it for anything in the World. 

I love this gospel and the joy it can bring us if we allow it.

Thanks for your prayers. They're needed. I need some extra fuel in my tanks rn.

Week 92- Wendy's👧🏻 "4 for $4"

Weeks like this are what every missionary dreams of. I love that I'm still apart of this work here in Germany.

I was able to interview the cutest little girl in Wiesbaden for baptism and then later stand in the circle to confirm her a member of the church. One of the funniest 9-year-olds I've ever met.

Conference..... just wow. I loved every second of it. President Nelson roasting men to treat wife's and women better, Holland roasting people coming late to sacrament or not going at all, Bednar roasting about temple reverence. Looks like "time is running out" those guys aren't messing around lol.

Experienced a huge miracle Monday. I'll save you having to read the story, probably just tell it in my homecoming talk but we had one if the coolest lessons on my mission in the middle of nowhere with this half Chinese half-German woman on Monday. Her story of how she got in contact with us is nothing shy of God working miracles. She is the ONLY Christian in her family ever. Such a cool story. She is one of those stories where you could write a book on how cool it is. God is very real in the small details even if it takes 10 years to see the fruits of it. I'll attach pictures of that day. Bummed I won't be here to see her progress all the way to baptism but that's ok, she's in God's hands. 

My comp tells me we run too much in the mornings and walk too fast during the days, he has pretty bad shin splits right now. I feel bad lol.

Also heard the Yankees are catching fire?? Less goooo!! The Master's Tournament is this weekend and the NBA playoffs are set. I appreciate those who are keeping me updated on those things even though they don't matter.

May we all try a little harder, and be a little better this week. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. If you want to see his impact in your life then let him in. He is there to heal the wounded soul and mend the broken heart. What a blessing to know that he lives!

Week 91- sdrawkcaB llA

Well, that was 7 days.

Pretty good I guess. Taught Mario at the church yesterday. He was way stoked on it all. First young German guy, I've seen actually be excited about the church. His girlfriend just sat in the car the whole time haha but he liked it. Met some other cool people this week. Also made some bomb burgers cuz warum nicht? Weisst du? Weil wir einfach Burger lieben.

Did some member service, they didn't even say thanks ha. Went to Andernach for a day find. A dude at this cafe just yells at me about my "blue bible" so I'm like alright. Walk in the cafe and start laying it on him, then the guy at the neighboring table is like "get that crap out of here" after my voice started to raise and seeing the look on my comps face I knew it was time to walk away lol rip. You think 2 years would change me more..... I love Germans I promise. Sometimes more than others.

Had my last interview with President. Amazing. The guy is a champion. Should have recorded it tbh. We talked about a lot of really cool stuff. I've loved my time out here so much. But I knew it was real when he started talking about girls and marriage lol. Real life man....freak

Nobody was having it on the street really. Better luck next week. But studies have been amazing. I'm going to miss the hour each day of personal study. In my spare time at night I've been trying to finish the Saints book again. The early members of the church are the real MVPs.
