Some cool stuff I read this week:
"True change-permanent change-can come only through the healing, cleansing, and enabling the power of Jesus Christ." -Russel M. Nelson

"Sow a thought, and you reap an act; sow an act, and you reap a habit; sow a habit, and you reap a character; sow a character, and you reap a destiny." -Anonymous

"The kingdom of Glory to which the Final Judgment assigns us is not determined by love but by the law that God has invoked in His plan to qualify us for eternal life, the greatest of all the gifts of God." -Dallin H. Oaks

Week 81- "Rose of Sharon"

Mensch, war für eine tolle Woche.

We taught our man from India this week he has the coolest story. Huge faith in Christ. He studied in England and prayed and received an answer to move here to Germany. Has been here for 8 months and has pretty dang good German already. He loved the first lesson and Book of Mormon. He told us he was baptized before but felt no spirit and he really just loves the concept of God speaking with people today and the power of revelation. At the end, he was like I'm totally bringing my friend next week and he wants to cook us Indian food. You could say it was a pretty successful day. I was giddy. Texted us last night and said he is loving 1 Nephi.

Besides that just the normal this week. I don't know if I have ever been colder. This is colder than the winter in Solingen last year and that is saying something.

Had fun splits with the Wiesbaden elders. Elder Hansen and Radle are hilarious. Then last night we taught the Haferstock boys and that was wayyy good! They want to be baptized so bad and they love young mens. The mom blasted in after the lesson and tried to rip on us. The parents still don'tt understand why the kids need to be baptized again. But like they both have been through the temple.
They were baptized Catholic already, duh Elders don't you get it!?

Whatever.🤷🏻‍♂️ Got her calmed down and basically taught her the first lesson and what priesthood authority means.
After that, she was hyped. Literally watched the lord soften a heart before my eyes yesterday. Miracle.

After that, we were in charge or young mens so we did an activity with them. Forgot how difficult it is to keep young men focused or interested. Pushed my patience but it was way good. They got to practice teaching the restoration which was cool to see them bare testimony.

Funny story: this elder in Heidelberg in our mission messages me about my sister (Dacia) and is totally into her.. and is like yo hook me up and I'll hook you up with my sister. I about died. He will never have the proveledge to even breath the same air as her. Then he sent her a friend request. I guess my sister's need to chill it with the beauty.

Read so many conference talks this week on the power and responsibility if the priesthood, gathering Israel and "Being Genuine" -Dieter F Uchtdorf

Love you guys! Have a good week.

We are in Köln today so elder Haywood can see this place and I get to see the boyyyssss. Literally everyone there today. Whitney, Watson, Jameson, Webster, Rafi, Rosales, Larsen, solingen & Hamm missionaries

Sei hyped

Some quotes I really liked this week:

"Many of the things you can count, don't count. Many of the things you cannot count, really do count" -Albert Einstein

"The Lord's work is not just to solve problems; it is to Build People." -Henry B. Eyring
