Week 67- "Bae is out there somewhere"

Been another wild one.

Did some more service last weekend. Church was bomb and Parish came and absolutely loved it. She is so stoked for her baptism. She just always calls us and thanks us for everything. We are always like you are so welcome hahaha ah man. 

Got some sad news that a sister here was going home so we took care of that for President and did everything so he didn’t have to worry about it. Was sad to lose a soldier in battle but it happens sometimes. 

We had interviews Wednesday and district meeting. Shout out to mom for the glow sticks. We had a party. President walked in and was like wow this looks like fun. He is such a good man. I honestly, don’t know how he is doing all he does.

Tons of shiz that happened this week but idk who reads these anyways so I’ll spare ya. Love you all. Thanks for the birthday wishes. Probs one of my favorite birthdays I’ve ever had. Akbar knocked on the door last night at like 11 bringing me a hugggeeee cake. One of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. 

Shout out to all the boys back home and the ones still on missions. Fight the good fight brethren. DGF

Week 66

Was a 7 day week this one.

Not one I would be hyped to relive but if I had to then whatever.

Saturday got a call from sisters telling us their new convert just got wrecked by her friend that is totally against the church. So we went down and figured all of that out. Climbed up this huge scaffolding and got yelled at by so many people. Crazy day. Never seen anything like I saw on Saturday. Satan is very real. But we praying this girl comes back and remembers the feelings of the spirit she had. 

I turn 21 this week if anyone wants to go get an alcohol free beer hit me up 

Sunday had some sisters bawling on the phone all night, also got asked to give another talk next Sunday. (Perks of the second councilor hating you)

Monday there was a terrorist hostage attack at the train station here in Cologne so President called us like super worried. Tuesday Bernhard called us and said he isn’t going to be baptized right now because of his health. So we are praying for him. Then a train in front of us coming home that night caught on fire so we had to blast out of there. 

Yesterday we set a baptismal date with our friend Parish. She is a single mom from Iran who is an absolute homieeeee. She will be getting baptized middle of November.

 

Moral of the story is agency is real, God isn’t going to babysit us. We are all grown up people who can make decisions for ourselves. Of course, he would love if we all chose the right and stayed on the straight and narrow. When we do that he literally blesses us more than we can imagine. 

Satan is also real and is hastening his work too. So I guess I really learned that it is a choice every day who we are going to follow and where our hearts are set.

God is very real. We are all his children and he loves us regardless of anything. He just wants what is best for us. He sent his son as a sacrifice so that it would be possible for us to be with him again. Up to us if we will take advantage of that or not.

Life is good. Positivity and light chase darkness.

Week 65- "Noch eine Versetzung"

So conference was amazing. I shouldn’t have to go into anything about it because you all should have watched it. President Oaks with the hard bars on people who are a little confused on the Plan of Salvation  Elder Uchtdorf the ultimate German Shepherd. President Nelson just always letting us know he isn’t here to mess around. 

This week was good. We got transfer calls and I am staying here in Köln with Elder Stacy for another transfer. He goes home at the end of this one. We will have spent almost 6 months together when we are done hahaha holy. That means I will also probably be here for Christmas. Christmas in Köln is HUGE so that’s hype.

Other than that we are seeing miracles left and right with our ward fasting for us. We have been teaching some way cool nerds so that is hype. 

The church is true and Jesus is coming soon people. If I was you I’d prepare but like ya, up to you.
