Mario würde getauft!!
The boy took a dip in the baptismal font in köln. Welcome to the fold.
I don't know what else to say just was a special experience. He was so excited to be baptized and everything went smoothly. When we were changing out of our wet clothes after he was just sooo happy. My little El Salvador Latino friend freezing cold all wet but sooo happy. Sweet morphine.
His father said the closing prayer and just was bawling. He asked God for protection for him and his son from the evils of the world. After he got down he just hugged Mario for a straight minute and a half. The next day he received the holy ghost and that was great.
This is what a nice member said to me after the baptism:
"Elder Rothwell, ich kann gar kein spanisch verstehen, aber ich habe bestimmt ein Licht vom Himmel bei seinem Vater gesehen als er das Schlussgebet gesprochen hat. Ich habe nie so stark den Geist bei einer Taufe gespürt. Ich spüre so wie ich Jesus gesehen habe."
This week has been full of miracles. Bernhard called us and he has been doing much better. Wants to be baptized on the 20th! He cut his hair, beard, gained a little weight and bought a new suit for the baptism.
We also did a ton of service for some new members this week and received 4 solid referrals who have a ton of interest.
I couldn't be more ready for conference this weekend. I need it so bad. The prophet will probably spit some fire as always. We also get transfer calls on Saturday so we will see what happens.
Super glad to be a missionary at Germany right now. These next 7 months are going to fly so we just trynna keep it fresh.
