Another week in the books! Feel like a Vet around these parts!! Everyone was right, after Sunday the days start flying by! Sunday was awesome, I have never been a fan of Hymns but for some reason I love singing them here. Maybe it's just because it's something new but they are awesome. The Sunday devotional talked a ton about Charity of Christ and making sure the people we are helping and teaching feel our genuine love as well as the Saviors. Mosiah 3:19 and Matthew Chapter 4 were good scriptures for that day.
Monday we got to teach again in German, we teach a ton. Me and Elder Wright are trying to focus more on inviting the Spirit than trying to speak proper and that has gotten much better. As soon as I think I know a lot of German I realize I don't. It's a daily grind but its alright, I'll Live.
Tuesday We had a great Devotional by Elder Hafen and his wife had a great talk about having to gain our own witness of the Lord stronger than sight and how we need to Cowboy Up. Also how we come to know him better in and through our extremities. Just as the Pioneers, Joseph Smith, and Paul. At the end of the Devo we watched the MOTAB video and them singing Come Come Ye Saints and I just lost it. I felt the spirit so strong and seeing the struggle of the Pioneers and what they sacrificed for us but they said it was an honor to struggle for God and Jesus. That was my favorite day this week. Moroni 10:7 D&C 18:30 John 7:17 Mosiah 24:14-15 were powerful scriptures for me that day.
Wednesday all of the new Missionaries showed up and oh my there were so many new ones and familiar faces! Got to see Jon, I looked for him all day and couldn't find him but when me and Elder Wright were walking back to our residence that night he saw me and came and jumped on me. It is good to see my buddies and friends from school here.
The rest of the week was good. The MTC has rubbed off on me. I tear up too many times during the week. Reading 3 Nephi 17 made me cry in class haha I hate it but for some reason can't help it. Never worked this hard but I love it.
Yesterday was Elder Jennings birthday and he is a rootin tootin shootin cowbow from Cleveland Utah. He is like 5'4 and doesn't know what an xbox or anything is but he is awesome. Hearing him try to speak German with his Cowboy accent is hilarious. Elder Warr the tall dude who played basketball for Westminister and Elder Avery are his roommates and threw him a good MTC "Rager" and we had fun with that last night. I've gotten pretty close to those guys. Also a rap battle between Elder Wadsworth who is going to Berlin and Elder Tenny who is going to Armenia was hilarious. Tenny is kind of a tool and thinks he is awesome but he is just a little BYU kid. I don't know how else to describe him but he was being mean and then the goofball Wadsworth smoked him. I will try and send the video.
All of you are in my prayers. Have a good week.

Scriptures mentioned in email:
*Mosiah 3:19
“For the natural man is an enemy to God, and has been from the fall of Adam, and will be, forever and ever, unless he yields to the enticings of the Holy Spirit , and putteth off the natural man and becometh a saint through the atonement of Christ the Lord, and becometh as a child”
*Matthew Chapter 4:
(this is just the heading)
“Jesus fasts forty days and is tempted—He begins His ministry, calls disciples, and heals the sick.”
*Moroni 10:7
“And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever.”
Elder Dutson is the most organized person ever. He eats everything off his plate every meal and organizes them and his desk is the same but he never realizes it so we have a good time with that.
*D&C 18:30
“ And you have that which is written before you; wherefore, you must perform it according to the words which are written.”
*John 7:17
“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”
*Mosiah 24:14-15
“ 14 And I will also ease the burdens which are put upon your shoulders, that even you cannot feel them upon your backs, even while you are in bondage; and this will I do that ye may stand as witnesses for me hereafter, and that ye may know of a surety that I, the Lord God, do visit my people in their afflictions.
15 And now it came to pass that the burdens which were laid upon Alma and his brethren were made light; yea, the Lord did strengthen them that they could bear up their burdens with ease, and they did submit cheerfully and with patience to all the will of the Lord.”
*3 Nephi 17:
(this is just the heading)
“Jesus directs the people to ponder His words and pray for understanding—He heals their sick—He prays for the people, using language that cannot be written—Angels minister to and fire encircles their little ones.”
