The day that we've been waiting for had finally come! Elder Rothwell went and picked up some more shirts and other little things to pack in the morning. The spirit in the home was completely different and somber with an Elder there and leaving later. Once he had said goodbye to his grandparents and taken his last looks at his home for the next 2 years, Dax got his suitcases packed into the car and set out to lunch with his family. He chose to eat at Red Lobster for lunch and while the family was walking in, they all happened to meet an Elder leaving too and is going serve in Berlin Germany! It's amazing how the Lord works and people meet each other. After lunch, the Rothwell family went to the Provo City temple and to some pictures and then went over to the Provo Temple and said their goodbyes along with taking some more pictures. 1:45 quickly came and it was time to drop Elder Rothwell off at the MTC. He was taken right as he got dropped off. There were sad and happy tears but Elder Rothwell is so excited to go and serve and do the Lord's work.
