Week 87- Chili-Con-Karneval

Aloha oi

S'War eine schnelle Woche gewesen.
We decided to buy some fancy bread and expensive cheese this week to mix it up and "get more involved in the culture."
Was one of the better ideas we have had. Germany is rad.🧀🥐🥨🏰

Had a shload of cool lessons this week. Our Arabic friend had us over again and made this eggplant, chicken and rice dish with a side salad of cucumber, yogurt mint soup stuff.
The girl we found last week met us at a cafe with her friend from her church and was LOVING it.

We were fasting this week that our people could come to church and BANG, right in the middle of someone's testimony two of our African homies roll in with these bright yellow, red, blue and green African dress things. I was laughing so hard.

Wednesday we taught this homie from Morrocco English and he totally wanted a Book of Mormon afterward and drove us home. Really went to show me personally, the power of prayer and fasting this week.

Rosen Montag was Monday and is just a big excuse to drink your brains out and party. The whole city was shut down and we accidentally got stuck in town. Was badddd, just parades of booze and free tobacco. Drunk people on the street everywhere, like 16-year-olds just hammered.
Luckily Tucker from köln came down and surprised me later that day with Elder Stacy!!! That boy came back to Germany for one of his old investigator's baptisms. Was so good to catch up with him. Weird not seeing him as a missionary. I spent 5 months 24/7 with that kid. Ah man, good stuff.

We met some way cool people this week and had crazy experiences as always. Wish I had the diligence to write it all here in an email but it's all in my journal. I love my mission and I love seeing the hand of God out here every day. One guy said, "I've met you Mormon missionaries 4 times in 3 different countries if this isn't a sign from God I don't know what would be."

We are hitting famous Burg Eltz today, guess it's world-renowned for its hike and scenery.  #wheninGermany

Keep it real!🎣
