What a week here. Just glad this week is over right now
Last week had the awesome opportunity to visit a member from the Wuppertal ward that was in a hospital here in Solingen and he asked me to give him a blessing so that was awesome!
We had a district finding activity last week so I decided it’d be fun to hit the university in Wuppertal and we got roasted. Were there about an hour and then this one guy I contacted was just like “F*ck you” so naturally I was like oh, so you can speak English? And then we got into it a little bit haha and then not 5 minutes later this lady comes out and is like get out of here, you have no permission to preach on school property so we had ourselves a nice conversation right there in the middle of campus :) haha my district members were shook. I just need to be more patient and loving, pray for me guys!!

Sunday was sick! Had ward conference and were able to get some less actives back in the building! WOOO! We were stoked. Also had an awesome member appointment with the Hansen’s an they invited their relatives from the phillapeans over who are less active and were able to have a super spiritual message.
The rest of the week was full of fallen out appointments and a ton of contacting. We were dooring in a small town, and this one guy came down the stairs and he was just on fire. He ripped us a new one and told us how we ruin peoples lives and me and him were just going back and forth. And then my comp is just like sir we simply are trying to help people haha and then he lost it on us again and called the cops and all of that jazz.
Oh ya also contacted a guy yesterday, and he was just like “you should be talking to people with weak souls, I’m a strong soul so I don’t need this” and then another guy who said he only reads pornography. He was at least 60 years old and I was just shook.
I’ve never had so many people just be brutally rude to me in a week and tell us what we are doing is evil. I think I heard the word Scheiße 200 said in my face 100 times this week, but I know that we are being blessed for testifying of Christ. I was reading Alma 17 about the Sons of Mosiah and if they could make it then so can we, those men were beasts! What we go through really isn’t bad at all when you start comparing it to the Book of Mormon or the early saints in the church.
Honestly I love it out here and and grateful for the opportunity to share and testify of the Gospel and Christ. We learn that opposition is in all things! Just means that miracles are about to come!
